Feds Warn About Terror Plot On NYC Subways
Federal authorities are warning law enforcement personnel of a possible terror plot against the New York City subway system during the holiday season.
NBC New York has confirmed that the FBI released an internal memo saying the agency has received a "plausible but unsubstantiated" report that al-Qaida terrorists in late September may have discussed attacking the subway system.
have discussed targeting transit systems in and around New York City. These discussions reportedly involved the use of suicide bombers or explosives placed on subway/passenger rail systems," according to the document.
"We have no specific details to confirm that this plot has developed beyond aspirational planning, but we are issuing this warning out of concern that such an attack could possibly be conducted during the forthcoming holiday season," states the warning, which is dated Tuesday.
While federal agencies regularly issue all sorts of advisory warnings, the language of this one is particularly blunt.
Intelligence and homeland security officials are working with local authorities to try to corroborate the information "and will continue to investigate every possible lead," the memo says.

I dunno... the Subway is an extremely frightening place for anything to go down. You are in a car feet below the surface with no exit, and with other people you don't know -- now everyone will sit on their morning rides to work and school, much more shifty-eyed than they used to be because of this tip/alert/warning/whatever. I for one am actually surprised some shit hasn't gone off on our Subway system yet in NYC. I take the A train to school, the SIR from home, and the SI Ferry ...I actually ride every damn train -- the 1, F, R ... these so called attacks could destroy the City in a blink of an eye, and no one sees it ... just how quick the City will shut DOWN if any major attack was done on these major lines.
Fuck a blackout ni99a, a bombing on our metro system is a fucking disaster waiting to happen. I for one am just worried for my loved ones who have to travel on this shit daily. Of all ages. People going to work, kids going to school, people going out just for a good time ... I wouldn't know how to feel if it were to happen and my loved ones were caught up in that shit.
I can't comprehend how I would react if I were caught up in that shit... the most we can do is just pray. Pray for safety of ourselves and others, and that whatever happens, its not too dark a road we can't find ourselves out of. Our city is struggling something hard right now ... its hunting season, I'm just hoping that the hate just ceases...
And why the fuck always NYC? LOL like damn.

They know all it takes is one terrorist attack here in the states for people to go nuts. That would send oil prices through the roof again. God Bless this country because there are very very dark days ahead of us. I beg everyone to rethink whats important in your life. Take care of your family and friends, educate them on what's going on. We are Americans and we can make it through anything!
