Anyone dissing Beastie Boys, DISSED LL COOL J PUBLIC ENEMY REDMAN NAS and MC SERCH, 3rd Bass, s*** RUN DMC and any artist from Brooklyn and any artist ever signed to Def Jam... Sometime you commentors need to sit back and salute where its due. It all goes back to those not respecting History. they was just born and Hip Hop was handed to em like a baby bottle, so they grow up thinking legends like the Beastie Boys owe them an explanation... get outta here

People not being a fan is what this comes down to and that's fine. Their impact on Hip-Hop, specifically in the URBAN department is a valid debate because they havent had nearly as much success in that department since the 80's. However on music, fashion and culture on a worldwide level, their impact cannot be debated.
Also, ask any Hip-Hop legend where they still get their respect from to this day. I'll give you a hint, it's not in Urban Radio. Go to Paid Dues or Rock the Bells sometime and tell me how many Crackers are there.

How You gonna disrespect Beastie Boys yet you bigging up any artsit signed to Def Jam, BEASTIE BOYS BUILT THAT LABEL.
