Most artists would jump at the chance to work with Madonna, but not Eminem. The rapper passed on a potential collaboration with the Material Girl.
“I wanted to work with Eminem. I don’t think he wanted to work with me,” she told Rolling Stone in the magazine’s current issue. “Maybe he’s shy.”
When asked who she listens to today, she cited her collaborators Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. “I really, genuinely like the music of Timbaland and Justin,” adding that her son Rocco “likes anything that I did with Timbaland.”
The Queen of Pop also praised Timberlake’s songwriting skills. “Justin is a brilliant songwriter. I mean, ‘What Goes Around…Comes Around’? Brilliant.”

Em don't need to collaborate with anyone. The big difference between an artist like him and an artist like weezy is that all of Em's moves in the industry are done based on his lyrical genius as a solo artist and thats the space he shines in. He is a true story teller who has pulled his own weight since the beginning.

Niggaz don't relize it aint about the publicity for him anymore. It's about, "Is this gonna be a hot track?" He'll do a song wit Dido before he does one wit madonna cuz thats the underground recipe that has made him so succesfull inna mainstream.
