Drake's October's Very Own Label Inks Deal With Warner Bros. Records

Drake has his eyes set on much bigger things that just being an artist. The Toronto emcee's October's Very Own label has inked a deal with Warner Bros. Records according to Billboard.

More details on the deal are expected to emerge on Wednesday.

While Drizzy will remain a solo artist with YMCMB, the deal with Warner Bros. will allow him to expand his brand along with his producer Noah "40" Shebib, which up until now has included clothing and the OVO Festival.

Drake is a garbage nursery rhyming a** rapper. I am sick of wack rhymes and calling it hip hop. DMX is right on the money man. If people keep promoting garbage then hip hop will be finished

I don't think it was foolish at all to sign with young money honestly...I think it catapulted his career into stardom which is good for him. What I think was stupid is him staying there. YM should only be a stepping stone for artists. When signing with young money you should understand sure you'll be thrust into the limelight but you'll probably getting robbed and ironically going to young money shouldn't be about the money at all it should just be riding the lil wayne fame train and that's it then use that fame to make money elsewhere.

Pusha T was right when he dissed YM/CM on that one song talking bout one guy signed to another guy signed to another guy so by the time you get your money 6 motha f ckas took their share. Drake was foolish to sign with YM to begin with. He could have still sold a bunch of albums independent the first time around but he was a scared lil b tch to do it on his own. He definitely doesn't need Wayne/Baby/Slim/Mack Mane anymore. He will finish out his contract with YM and then it will be SEE YA LATERRRRRR. It AINT YM fo life like his says in his verses, unless he likes the way Baby's p*nis feels inside him.
