Video After The Jump
If anyone knows about trials and tribulations it would be DMX. The rapper has been to the top of the music business, only to see drugs lead him to repeated stints in jail.
Now at age 40, Dark Man X is clean and sober. He would like to give back by teaching the youth not to follow in his footsteps.
X will be appearing on an upcoming episode of "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers," where he will give his first in depth interview since being released from an Arizona prison back in July.
In the interview DMX will talk about growing up with an abusive mother, his troubled childhood and his battles with substance abuse.
X will also meet a young man headed down the wrong path and give him the opportunity to change his life by introducing him to a producer, offering him a "life-changing proposition."
And for the first time on television DMX will perform his new single “Keep Ya Head Up.”
You can catch the episode Wednesday November 9, at 3P/2C on The CW Network.
