DJ Kay Slay Explains His Fallout With Nas. Says He Was Disgusted When Esco Signed With Jay-Z & Told Papoose Not To Do Deal With Nas [Video]

Video After The Jump

Legendary DJ Kay Slay a.k.a. The Drama King recently spoke with Vlad TV about Nas. He explained that the two fell out because Nas refused to shoot the music video for a song he recorded for Kay Slay.

Slay said he was disgusted when Nas signed to Def Jam while Jay-Z was president after he destroyed him with "Ether." In Slay's opinion, too much personal stuff had been said during their beef to get past it. He felt like Nas won the battle, but lost the war when he did business with Hov.

Kay Slay also revealed that he advised Papoose not to sign with Nas.

cosign Slay, Nas should have NEVER signed to Def Jam when Jay was president. It's cool that they ended the beef on stage but that should have been the end of it.

I didn't mind when Nas and Jay got cool again. Nas killed him imo. It just sounds like Slay is still Salty that Nas didn't show up to his video shoot
