East Hampton Town Police have arrested a Florida woman for trespassing on an East Hampton property she apparently believed belonged to the rapper Sean Combs
Police arrested Cemelia Green
, 35, of Jacksonville
on February 22 and charged her with criminal mischief in the second degree and criminal trespass in the second degree, both misdemeanors. The arrest took place at a house on Bianco Road
about a week after police were called to the location for another incident involving Ms. Green. Mr. Combs owns a house on Hedges Banks Road
On February 12, police were informed that a woman had been into headquarters requesting the location of Mr. Combs’s residence. Police were then called to the house on Bianco Road by a maintenance worker and found Ms. Green, who, police said, had told the worker that she was married to Mr. Combs and owned the property. Police said they approached Ms. Green and she left without incident.
But on February 22, while on routine patrol, officers found Ms. Green walking behind the house, and when they approached her she got into her car and locked the doors. Police said they canvassed the area and found that a sliding glass door had been broken recently. The officer was able to talk Ms. Green out of the car, police said, and she was arrested and taken to headquarters. Bail was set at $5,000
and Ms. Green’s vehicle was impounded.
