Dime Magazine Names Kobe Bryant The Player Of The Century. Do You Agree? [Take Our Poll Inside]
Dime Magazine has rolled out it's latest issue and in it they name Los Angeles Lakers all everything player Kobe Bryant as the Player of the Century.
"Our best player is Kobe Bryant, the cover subject of this issue, and we’ve already heard from plenty of people who are speaking up for their own favorite player in that debate. "

Since we're only 12 years into the new century it may seem premature to name it's best player already, but for the sake of argument let's look at some players who should also be considered and vote on who really is the Player of the Century.

Ok that's it! After reading some of the comments, I had to comment. Why are you people being so damn technical!? It is their magazine and the chose to go big for the title to make the player stand out greatly. And if you wanted to be technical, decade would be stupid because to have the greatest of the decade you would go by tens. So that means this decade is only two years in. Now the greatest player of the past decade fine. But think about it, that title really does not sound that great. Plus, obviously the mag knew what they were doing... do you see all the extra attention they are getting... go buy some shares now...you techinical dummies are making them richer.

But I agree with many others posted here, WTF is this century s***, we still got 88 years left until the end of the 21st century. If it was of the decade, it would just solidify Kobe's case, but yea too early to call anyone player of the decade, Kobe has a lead for the time being at least.

Has to be Kobe, Lebron hasn't had enough time to establish himself yet, Lebron can make a case when gets as many rings as Kobe. No one else comes close, Shaq's best days were with LA and Kobe despite whatever they had against each other - and Shaq is still a distant second or third.
