DEF JAM...We have a Problem: Triple C's Only Manges To Sell 12,000 Copies [Is DJ Khaled Ruining the Def Jam Brand?]- Poll Inside
Just when you thought things couldn't get any worst for Def Jam...Out comes the HORRIFIC Triple C's debut album, "Custom Cars & Cycles." Triple C's managed to sell a whopping 12,000 copies of their debut album.
Def Jam might be re-thinking the whole idea of making DJ Khaled the President of Def Jam South. To date, DJ Khaled has released 2 Ace Hood albums in ONE year under the Def Jam imprint. Both of Ace Hood's albums combined didn't sell more than 30,000 units. This has never been seen in the entire history of Def Jam Recordings.
Not to mention DJ Khaled's instigating of the 50 Cent/ Rick Ross beef which in the end destroyed and severely hurt Officer Ricky's credibility. Also after spending $3 Million to promote his album, "Deeper Than Rap," Rick's sales did not refelect the $3 Million that was spent in marketing dollars. At what point does Def Jam draw the line and say ,'Enough is Enough?'

- I don't like Khaled, Ace Hood is alright, but Ross is on his shit. He kills damn near erry song on the new Triple C's album. I think it's Finer Things on that new album, he throws shots at Floyd Mayweather and tells you errything is paid for. You know these guys are hood rich, you can tell. They throw out that new album, diamonds on all them, knowing they not gon sell alotta albums cuz they tell it in the album. This album is straight for the gangstas, and they know alotta people that love 50 gon hate, n refuse, but it's for real street niggas.

- Triple C's just now started making music, and that new album is hard as fuck. Now, I know you all love fifty cent and his dick and hate the fact someone is making better music than him, but listen to that new Triple C's album and tell me it ain't one of the hottest albums out. Look aside the beef, go check it out. I don't believe are there any shots at fifty, only mention of fifty. Ya'll know if that beef neva happened, you'd be bumpin' that Triple C's. It's a nice album for their first one. Listen to "gangsta Shit" with the game, no stabs at fifty. you'll like that shit
