Former New Orleans rap titan C-Murder legal battles continues to thicken as a postponement request was denied by Judge Hans Liljeberg. After Juan Flowers, a friend of C-Murder and who is also serving life admitted to shooting the teen, prosecutors were left scrambling to investigate Flower's claim.
"This is, in fact, a key issue in the trial,"..."I wanted to go to trial with it that Monday [January 12]," Assistant District Attorney David Wolff explained to Judge Liljeberg.
A legal ordeal which has taken 7 years, C-Murder faces life if convicted. Jury selection begins on August 3rd.
