Charlamagne Tha God Gives Chief Keef The 'Donkey Of The Day' Award For Crying When He Was Sentenced To 60 Days In Juvenile Detention [Audio]

Chicago rapper Chief Keef was sentenced to 60 days in juvenile detention yesterday for violating his probation from a previous gun charge.

Cook County Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker said Tuesday that Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, exhibited a "clear disregard for the court's authority" by appearing with a gun during a 2012 interview with at the West Side Rifle and Pistol Range in New York City.

Keef had to be back in court yesterday for sentencing when he found out his fate.

The 17-year old asked the judge for another chance, but Walker wasn't having it.

"I beg you, please. Give me one more chance to show you I am a very good-hearted person. I have not picked up any more cases. That's not my life anymore," Keef told the judge before breaking down crying according to

Today, Charlamagne Tha God of Power 105.1 gave Keef the "Donkey of the Day" award for sobbing in court during his sentencing.

"I can understand if he got 60 months in prison. Or 60 years in prison. Even if he got 60 days in general population in Chicago I can understand him shedding some tears, but 60 days in juvenile detention? Come on Mr. Gangster?" Charlamagne said.

Check out the rest of what Charlamagne had to say up top.

Doubt this is gonna do anything to stop the kids out there from imitating this kid. He's probly STILL crying. But sadly this'll probly make it all worse. He'll come out feeling like he's gotta act harder just to live down the crying thing. He's well past the age where spanking him is gonna do anything.

i think that its easy to talk s*** bout keef for his tears in court, but when u make it to a point of impacting the world with ur talent, then to stand in their court and literally see it go up in smoke with all that u worked for right after ur brother got bodied; i think that ANYBODY has the right to be affected on a human level( tears included). frankly it sounds like a cheap shot by a dude on the radio whos took his name from one of prince's(or the symbol formally known as) slide offs. keef hold ya head and use the 60 days as a tool to continue to build urself. i am still working to rebuild my family and life after my bid and i dont know if i would shed tears or flip the fucc out if i had to go bacc, but i kno that i dont want to ever go bacc. keef god speed and never let anything take ur light. Nah i think he cried not because he is scared because he know his career is about to be over if his label let this happen because interscope wouldnt let an artist who is making them money go to jail they either shelfing him or dropping him

You are a sick f****** person if you think that a 16 year old boy should be so hardened by life that when they loose their freedom that they don't get sad or upset. And you are a f****** idoit for believing to think that Chief Keif or any other rapper is as "Gangster" as they say they are. Its entertainment, the truth gets stretched. And I apologize if my grammar doesn't match your "Gangsta English" you unintelligent waste of a human being.
I Cry
Sometimes when I'm alone I Cry,
Cause I am on my own.
The tears I cry are bitter and warm.
They flow with life but take no form
I Cry because my heart is torn.
I find it difficult to carry on.
If I had an ear to confide in,
I would cry among my treasured friend,
but who do you know that stops that long,
to help another carry on.
The world moves fast and it would rather pass by.
Then to stop and see what makes one cry,
so painful and sad.
And sometimes...
I Cry
and no one cares about why.
