Cash Money Records Sued For $600,000 Over Uncleared Sample On Bow Wow Record

Cash Money Records has faced many lawsuits over the years and today they're staring at another one.

This latest lawsuit is from Robert Poindexter from the 70s band The Persuaders. He accuses Bow Wow of illegally sampling the song "Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out)" for his 2010 track "Still Ballin" off of the mixtape, Greenlight 3.

Poindexter says neither Cash Money nor Bow Wow ever obtained permission to sample the 1972 song. He is seeking $600,000 in punitive damages, plus interest according to TMZ.

Take a listen to both songs below.

Ya not clear if FIFTY got sued or not? Heard he did but who knows?? Its petty s*** really.....But its understandable if say the song sampled was an artists single that hits number one, But a mixtape track? Most of the s*** goes under the radar anyway.
