BRUTAL!! Florida Teen Attacked On Bus Before Being Dragged Off, Beaten And Robbed: ''I Could've Died'' (VIDEO)
Back on September 5, an ugly scene unfolded first on a Broward County Transit bus and only got uglier outside of the bus.
17 year old Tyreek Westby was on his way home from nearby Mavericks High School when his nightmare unfolded.
Recently released video shows Westby's three attackers get off at a stop, only for one to hold the door open for another suspect to run back aboard and attack Westby.
"He grabbed me off the bus and all the terror started happening. I started feeling the hits all over. I tried to get away. I can't take this. Time for me to escape or survive. I can't make it," Westby told Local 10.
“I feel like I had too much in the world to do than to just die right there. “I’m still young. I could do a lot of things. I have a bright future.”
When Westby tried to run away, another attacker chased him and body-slammed him, the report said. Westby was kicked in the face and across his body multiple times.
“They beat him and kicked him in the head like he wasn’t a human being,” Tyreek's mother Tessa Westby said.
The assailants stole Tyreek's headphones and cellphone, then ran away. A good Samaritan picked up the boy and drove him home, his mother said.
His mother also has questions as to why the bus driver wouldn't allow Tyreek to get back on the bus after the attack despite pleas from the passengers on board.
The driver simply drove away and left the injured teen to fend for himself before the stranger picked him up.
“Why didn’t she just do something? Not for her to intervene and put herself in harm's way, but why didn’t you call for help?” asked Westby's mother.
"You just drive off on someone in need? You don't do it, you don't do it," said Westby.
As for Tyreek, he still has knots in his head and is prone to blacking out over two months since the attack.
"I black out every now and then," but said he otherwise has been feeling all right.
"I could have died, but in my head, I’m moving on to the next day," he said.

Just wanted to say Thank you to all of You that gave Positive support to this story,As I did a search on the story this was one that popped Up. The Young Man being Beaten is My son Tyreek Westby.I will say it is amazing How quickly Your Life can Change. My son was almost killed and as you can see the Bus driver drove off and did nothing To help. Again I want to sincerly say thank You. Blessings

This used to do this Mon-Fri in Chicago back when I was in high school on the 63rd street bus. They'll catch some sucker who's not from the area, flash the wrong gang sign toward him for he'll flash it back then they go to work on homey. The Bus driver didn't do sht, the other passengers didn't do sht, I know I didn't do sht. It's just a bad unfortunate situation! All I can say is know your surroundings.
