Video After The Jump
Normally rap videos with scantily clad women shaking their assets in and around a swimming pool would be seen a normal, but a new video featuring a six-year old rapper is causing lots of controversy.
"Booty Pop" features young Albert Roundtree Jr. rapping "I can make your booty pop, booty pop, booty pop," while women in bikinis dance around him. The video has been flagged and age restricted under youtube's Community Guidelines policy. That hasn't stopped it from being viewed by over 500,000 people since it was uploaded on July 2nd.
The video's director Tyler Council, told the Miami New Times that Albert's parents paid him to shoot the video in the hopes their son will become a big rap star. He also says he doesn't regret filming the clip.
"It's supposed to be a joke, but I'd say about 30 percent of the people watching it find it funny," Tyler said "But I still don't regret it. He's just trying to imitate his idols that he hears on the radio. There's no touching going on, there's no drug abuse."
Council added that Albert's parent's have commissioned him to shoot a new video entitled "Girls, Girls, Girls," which will be dropping soon.
"I haven't had time to think about anything besides 'Booty Pop' because it's destroying the internet," Council says. "His belly button is more important that Andy Griffith dying, and Obama getting the healthcare act past the Supreme Court. I think it's ridiculous. I guarantee people freaking out about 'Booty Pop' don't have any idea how many soldiers died in Iraq last week."
Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think.
