When sports rivalries get really bitter, or a few idiots get drunk and want to brawl, the end result is what happened last night at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.
The pre-season match up between the Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49er's took a backseat to the violence in the stands amongst their fans.
Fans brawled in the stands and a man was beaten unconscious inside of a restroom.
Outside of the venue things only got worse, as one 24-year old man wearing a t-shirt that read "F—the 49ers" was shot several times in the stomach. Another man in his 20's was shot in the face according to New York Daily News.
I'll never understand paying to go to an event just to act a fool, smh.

Hell yeah. I remember being in Orlando for the 2009 NBA finals. I was sitting courtside and had my #24 Kobe jersey on. I paid all that money to sit that close to watch my favorite player get a W... so I stayed the whole game period. I'm living in Orlando and I get outside and f****** fans tried to jump me and my girl for wearing Laker gear. We had to hop in the damn taxi to get out even though we drove. Fans are crazy.

Candlestick is located in Hunters Point in the f****** hood. Not to mention, Norteno's wear RED and represent at these games. When fan's travel to go to a game in SF (Green Bay fans, Steelers fans, Cowboy's, etc)....they are shocked to see how ghetto the stadium is. I've seen more fights than anywhere at niner games.
