Beyonce Speaks on Power Outage During Superbowl XLVII

After halftime, Super Bowl XLVII was put on pause for a little over a half hour due to a power outage that took place in the beginning of the third quarter.

Beyonce, who controlled the stage during halftime, felt fortunate that time was on her side and the outage didn't take place during her awesome performance.

Here is what the singer told Omg! Insider about the Superdome blackout:

"It's a live television show, it's the biggest show in America. There's so many things that could happen and God was on my side, so I'm very, very happy that it went well and the power went out after.”

Indeed it was an extravaganza. As we previously reported, Beyonce brought down the house with a captivating show and guest reunion of Destiny's Child.

The same day, Bey announced that "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" will take off in the Spring.

Told ya'll over the weekend the new joint was called "The Mrs. Carter Show". I love it when I'm right. Looks like neither BEYONCE nor JAY-Z will be going anywhere anytime soon. HIP HOP's #1 Power Couple. BRILLIANT performance at Super Bowl XLVII too.
