Beanie Sigel Sentenced To 2 Years In Prison For Tax Evasion
Beanie Sigel will be spending the next two years in prison for failing to pay more than $728,000 in federal income taxes according to MyFoxPhilly.
The Philadelphia born rapper whose real name is Dwight Grant, earned more than $3.2 million between 1999 and 2005, but only paid $10,000 in taxes.
Sigel pleaded guilty to the charge on Aug. 9, 2011. He was sentenced earlier today.
U.S. District Court Judge Jan E. Dubois ordered Sigel to pay all taxes, penalties, and interest as determined by the Internal Revenue Service and to fully cooperate with the IRS. He must report to prison on September 12th.

OK @3.2-728,000/2.5mil clear and u broke wow now I know how much I would have do the math which one is greater so is that 7© on a dollar that's a lot of money that like 20 © on a dollar okay different tax bracket / famous. Usually I would be on Beanie Sigels side but not this time.. Why? If he made 3.2 million and only paid 10,000 is taxes then that’s his fault. Also the fact that he pleaded guilty was dumb as hell. But then again, his lawyer probably convinced him to plead guilty because lawyers these days don’t care about their clients lol. All I know is, Beanie Sigel needs to pay off his own s*** and stop depending on other people to pay it for him.. It p***** me off to see all these rappers not paying their taxes. If you cant pay your taxes, get a damn job! Don’t think because your famous you don’t have to pay taxes. EVERYBODY has to pay taxes.
