Beanie Sigel Arrested In Pennsylvania After Police Find Gun In Car He Was A Passenger In & Codeine Syrup, Prescription Pills On Him.
The bad news keeps rolling in for Beanie Sigel. The rapper is due to report to prison next month to begin a two-year sentence on tax evasion charges and this morning he was arrested again.
According to WPVI, Pennsylvania State Troopers pulled over a tan Ford Fusion at 3:15 AM after they noticed it weaving in and out of it's lane. The cops ordered the driver, identified as Gerald Andrews, out of the car. During a search they found several prescription bottles and a small amount of weed on him.
At that point they turned their attention to the passenger, identified as Dwight E Grant, aka Beanie Sigel. During a search of his person they found $4,650 cash, a bottle of codeine syrup with a scratched off label, and several prescription pills wrapped in plastic bags located in a cigarette pack.
Police then searched the vehicle and found a gun in the center console. Both Andrews and Sigel are convicted felons and not allowed possess a firearm.
The pair were transported to Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Media, PA to be processed and arraigned.
