South Gwinnet high school basketball phenom and seven year NBA vet with the Philadelphia 76ers Lou Williams held a charity game earlier today for his Foundation at Atlanta Metropolitan College.
The game was scheduled to start at 3pm but due to some players not being able to attend at the last minute they had to find replacements. The new Atlanta team was coached by Lindsey Harding of the Atlanta Dream and old Atlanta was coached by Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. The national anthem was sung by the sexy Jive recording artist K. Michelle.
The old Atlanta players included Lou Williams (76ers),Damien Wilkins (Hawks),Joe Johnson (Hawks),Allen Iverson (Turkey),Jarrett Jack (Hornets),Anthony Morrow (Nets).The new Atlanta players included Derrick Favors (Jazz), Jeff Teague (Hawks),Trey Thompkins (Clippers),Travis Leslie (Clippers),Jodie Meeks (76ers),JJ Hickson (Kings),MarShon Brooks (Nets),Iman Shumpert (Knicks)
Lou Williams,Damien Wilkins,Jeff Teague were ballin hard all game. Old Atlanta were down pretty much all game until the forth quarter. Allen Iverson had some nice assists and wasn’t hitting his shots until the final 3 minutes of the game which solidified a win for his team. The play of the game was when A.I put a And1 move on Teague breaking his ankles in the open court ending with a easy layup. The final score was Old 132 New 129.
