Alicia Keys was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live's show In Brooklyn, New York at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Friday.

 

The 14-time Grammy winner, who is a New York resident talked with Jimmy about her 2-year old son Egypt and the water damage Hurricane Sandy caused to some of her musical equipment.

 

Alicia also filmed a funny "Helping Parents to Rock" PSA.

 

 

Later in the show she performed "Girl on Fire."
