From the moment we were introduced to Jaden Smith as a child, we knew he was simply just different. Transitioning from one character to another and going on random twitter rants that seemed to hit dead end after dean end; Jaden strategically made it seem as though he struggled finding a sound and image that was right for him. That is until his first in studio release of 'SYRE' an album released through a partnership with is label MSFTSMusic in collaboration with none other than Roc Nation Records.
Jaden seems to play with the topic of conspiracy theories and incites arguments that are but a mere reflection of what may appear to be his lost ambitions. According to 'Kevin Lozano' Staff writer and track coordinator at Pitchfork, "SYRE is a sophistic, paranoid fantasy that mixes new-age thinking with apocalyptic rhetoric."
The album portrays a continuous story as each song blends with the next. The young star has a feature with A$AP Rocky, on a track titled Breakfast. The young confused artist seems to have found his sound with this unique project.
SYRE is the ultimate "Love letter to the world" where Jaden spills his guts through his penmanship.
