Afeni Shakur Ecstatic About New Broadway Show Influenced By Her Son, Tupac's Music

The Tupac Shakur musical is officially a go.

As we previously reported, producer Kenny Leon planned on bringing the show to Broadway, but he wanted the approval of Tupac's mom, Afeni Shaukur first.

TMZ is reporting that after hearing about the show Afeni gave the thumbs up and is "ecstatic" about it.

"Holler If You Hear Me" is inspired by Tupac's music and is a fictional story about two childhood friends in a Midwestern industrial city and their extended families.

Casting for the show begins next week

Physics and karma are two different things smart guy. Pac's negative actions which in turn brings back negative reactions is understandable but this is not physics lol dumbass!
Don't get it twisted i'm feeling you on some topics but never excuse the powers that be for udder stupidity of an artist. JFK, Pac and many more are heroes for openning their mouths and speaking their minds.
The powers that be whatever you want to call them illuminati, trilateral comission, builderberger group or the masonic families such as the 12 bloodlines or families are the reason they are dead.
It wasn't Pac's stupidity that got him killed. It was the media that fueled the war. Puffy and Suge knew of this and kept adding kinling to the fire. Suge and Puffy made the ultimate sacrifice.
Let's get something straight here. Though at time Pac's life was a hypocrite lifestyle. He still was not a marionette for the master. Pac had the power of the people from all walks of land. His power had to be stopped. Pac had the lane and was leading towards a revolution. As PAc was getting older and wiser at an alarming rate they knew he had to be taken out. It wasn't random thugs that happen to do a driveby. Let's get real here!
I've said enough.
Killuminati 24/7 do the research and stay informed. The revoltion will be digitized!

@ King Of America did Kennedy also ask to get killed ? or is it only black thug n***** who ask to get killed ? Poor choices ? what he made some poor choices yes but he also spoke up for his people thankfully you aren't black so you aint got a f****** clue. He was one of the most socially aware rappers of his generation while most of his peers were very silent 2PAc was the one who spoke up he never stayed silent on things that his disagreed with.

@king of america...aren't we all flawed individuals in one way or another? pac didn't ask to get gunned down in NY, nor did he ask to get gunned down in vegas so i'll have to disagree with your claim that he caused his own death. lowlife hoods were responsible for his and biggie's death.
