BET Networks is coming to Atlanta in search of aspiring talent during the BET Awards Next Big Music Star Mobile Tour.
The tour, a talent-recruiting contest for the BET Awards ‘12, features a fully equipped mobile recording studio and is also making stops in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Memphis and Houston.

WHERE: ATLANTA
Friday, May 25th
Underground Atlanta
50 Alabama St.,

(at the corner of Peachtree St. and Upper Alabama St.)
Atlanta, GA 30303

WHO: Celebrity guest judges are Issa, Jacob Latimore, Nastasia and Malik Yusef

To enter, aspiring contestants will need to register on the tour’s Facebook page via: http://BET.com/nextbigmusicstar and attend the event.

There, they will sing acapella in front of judges for a chance to record a track in the deluxe mobile recording studio. After all of the winners in each city have recorded in the studio, a grand-prize winner will be selected by BET judges and through online fan voting. The grand-prize winner will attend the BET Awards ’12 and get a chance to appear at the 106 & Park pre-show.

The tour is designed to inspire young music talent from city to city, online and offline, on-air and off. And, at each location, music industry professionals and celebrities will be in attendance to help mentor the winners in the studio. With some talent, a little luck, and a lot of online votes, one lucky grand-prize winner could be the next big music star.
