Another heavyweight rapper is confirmed to make merry this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. After Jay-Z is officially announced to hold a live-stream concert at the Texas-based gig, now 50 Cent is added to the already-crowded performer lineup.

The "In da Club" hitmaker is scheduled to headline a showcase for Shady Records at Austin Music Hall on March 16. The former member of G-Unit is going to perform his 2003 hit album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'", live for the first time in its entirety.

Fiddy is going to be supported by Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Big K.R.I.T., Action Bronson, Schoolboy Q, Don Trip, S.T.S. and The Foodchain. Taking the duty as a host for the showcase is none other than Sway.

An annual music, film and interactive conference, this year's SXSW is going to run from March 9 to March 18 in Austin, Texas. The interactive will be conducted from date 9 - 13, the film segment will take place from date 9 - 17, and the music festivity will be held from date 13 - 18.

The gig boasts a series of notable artists like Talib Kweli, The Ting Tings, Rye Rye, K'naan, Grace Potter, Of Montreal, Best Coast, Gossip, Miike Snow, M. Ward, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and many more.
