50 Cent Says Rivalry With Officer Ricky Is Battling, Not Beef [Video]

Much has been made of the feud between 50 Cent and Officer Ricky. Most have categorized their rivalry as being beef, but the G-Unit boss sees it differently, choosing to instead categorize it as battling.
In a recent interview with MTV, Fif reiterated that he doesn't wish death on the Miami rapper, but does question the motivation behind him starting the rivalry to begin with.
"When you look back at that entire scenario you say, 'what was the motivation of it, like where did it start?' He says it started because I looked at him the wrong way. That just means he wanted to compete, he wanted to move up, he wanted to create an awareness for himself... and he did it," 50 said. "This is why they changed the terminology from battling to beefing. Battling was always a part of the culture. They didn't do that until the 2Pac and Biggie situations. That's when it became taboo to actually mention an artist's name."

MTV has to stop preventing Non-US residents from seeing their video's. What's wrong with somebody in Europe seeing this interview? They're not gonna broadcast it here on MTV in Holland anyways

i find myself less nd less clickin/checkin 50 stuff ...this suit after suit is just killin it for me, he's become very inconsistant (what he preaches)... one more suit, i swear, i wont watch interviews/Behind the scenes etc, if ur next track is like that im on it or flawless crap ima just stop bumpin too.. i dont see whats so hard about gettin a street wardrobe together, payin banks for a few verses, do what game did nd mentally tattoo the last top 10 albums of the last 8/9 years... shouldnt have a problem.. wow i will say lots slept on rotten apple i liked it alot i think hands up scared some people away but that album was hard but then again i liked bisd also i thought was solid album as well but haters will be haters

I can Honestly say Rotten Apple is my favorite Rap/Hip Hop album of all time, how the F.uck did ya sleep on that ??? the only track that was trash was ice man !!!!!! every other track I love all the way from the beginning to the end, and i mean love not just like !!!!!!!!!! who ever slept on Rotten Apple needs to give it a listen, alot of you go by sales, only because it was a commercial failure, ya think it was a failure !!!! hell no, who ever doesn't have Rotten apple as their top 5 hip hop C.D., I seriously wonder if you're really into rap !!!! look out for God forgives I don't dec 13 !!!!!
