50 Cent Says He Doubts There Will Be A G-Unit Reunion, Explains Why He Talked Business With Manny Pacquiao & Speaks On His Relationship With Floyd Mayweather Jr. [Video]

Video After The Jump

50 Cent returned to Ear Candy Mornings yesterday to sit down for a chat with Renada Romain. The two talked about how well the single "My Life" is performing, people doubting his music and if we will see a G-Unit reunion with Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks.

"Probably not," 50 said of the possibility of a G-Unit reunion. "You got people that grow in different directions. I've offered everything I could offer to G-Unit. I allowed them to be in front of my audience the entire time to develop their own fan base and have people recognize their attributes. And their defects at that point so what do you do? I don't care what other people want. I could give a f*ck if they want a G-Unit reunion. You can kiss my motherf*cking a$$ as far as that's concerned. I think when we get to the point [about] something the public is saying, it's a trend. It's an idea that one person had that other people are following. When did [G-Unit] dissolve? It dissolved as they didn't actually support the projects."

50 also discusses his relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr., positives he's taken from their friendship and why he was discussing business with Manny Pacquiao at one point.

"My communications with Manny Pacquiao and his team was for Floyd Mayweather," Fif explained. "The company itself was initially being created to be a bargaining chip that they could actually split and look at it like it was a retirement plan. When you have a fighter that doesn't make money off anything but fighting and they're in that cycle of get the money, spend the money. You know that it's a comfortable flight, but the plane has no wheels. When it does land, it will crash land. So, if I'm sitting there and I'm trying to create that thing that's in between that allows them to be around what they're passionate about. And that's the sport of boxing. They've put everything into it. When I build it and you decide you don't wanna do it. When there's no income away from anything else but boxing and you know you can't fight forever. And you're saying 'I got 2 of 3 left in me.' And you see the actual fighter not fighting the toughest opponents. And navigating like 'let me fight who I think I can win [against].' When you see those decisions being made you go 'OK, hold up... let me start thinking about your exit strategy.' If that doesn't pop up then you don't have any logic with the way you view your life."

50 later predicts who he thinks would win if Manny and Floyd ever fought.

Yo I was rockin with u 50 until u said that. Banks from what I can see has always been grinding, Yayo not gonna comment on. So what u mean they didn't support YOUR projects? As much as u wanted them to. I don't want to see a G-Unit reunion, where the next Banks album n Mixtapes at?

And far as Banks goes musically I cant say hes lazy and neither can anybody else. Since 08 hes dropped Return of the PLK, Holloween Havoc, Cold Corner, 4/30/09-Reborn, V5, HFM2, Cold Corner 2, V6,and hes collabed with tons of people on his songs and other artist songs. Thats a lot of GOOD QUALITY MUSIC. Hes working on Cold Corner 3 and the All or nothing series with DJ Drama. Hes repped G Unit on of all those mixtapes except for V6. He has been the main flag carrier for G UNIT the music brand for a while now. And if he stops repping it I wouldnt blame him cause 50 keeps s******* on him and Yayo publicly. That aint real n**** s***. 50 just needs to shut the f*** up, get a bunch of creative heads all in one room, get some collabs, nice beats, a tv show revolved around G Unit (not some dumb a** knock off version of the apprentice) and make another G Unit album. Thats how you get G Unit poppin again.

I cant believe yall feeling sorry for this n****. Banks and Yay are not the downfall of g unit. The real downfall of G Unit was CANDY SHOP. After he dropped that everybody started losing interest in 50 Cent then Ultimately G Unit. The whole group felt the backlash of that. Then 50 kept shooting himself in the foot by beefing with any and everybody for dumb reasons. Then G Unit wasnt doing any collabos cause they had the big head which is fine cause they had the right too. But in todays industry to stay popping you gotta stay in the spotlight. And the best way to do this is to collab with other popular artist. But unfortunately for him the most popular artist dont f*** with him. Then 50 has put out a ton of bad music. I mean his albums were ok but the singles sucked. And between albums his mixtapes were HORRIBLE. He cant expect people to f*** with his music if he keeps dropping bad quality. Then 50 went hollywood on us which is fine cause its money by any means but I feel as if this was the the main reason why his music suffered. Doing movies and recording music at the same time doesnt mix. Head is in to many places to concetrate. He never grew as an artist lyrically. Just about every song he does its about busting a n**** head shoot em up shoot em up. Cool but damn can we hear something different. He has to challenge hiself. His flows are simple. Bottom line is that 50 and his collective of bad decision killed G UNIT
