Shortly after Fiddy came to his defense, Breezy replies, 'Don't worry bro.. They mad because of the level of real people who live in this world.'
50 Cent has come to Chris Brown's defense after FOX News criticized NBC for hiring Breezy on "Today" show. The G-Unit rapper was disgusted by the network for bringing up Breezy's altercation with Rihanna and citing it as a reason why the R&B singer should not be given any headlining gig.
Fiddy wrote on Twitter, "I just saw a clip on FOX news Hating on NBC for having chris brown on unbelievable. I'm never watching that again. He paid for his mistake #!@*# holes." Grateful for the support, Breezy tweeted on his own page, "Don't worry bro.. They mad because of the level of real people who live in this world. Not to mention their ratings probably sucked."
A day earlier, Breezy fired back at FOX News on the micro-blogging site upon learning about the hating comment toward him. "People really should grow up sometimes! I guess the next story they make up will say 'chris brown paid the fans to come! #stopit5 hahaha..'," he began his rants.
"I get it though! They are upset at the fact that the today show actually focuses on talent instead of an almost 3 year old incident!" he added in a series of tweets. "Running bogus and pointless stories don't matter! My fans prove that everyday and the haters just look old as F**k !"
"I keep my head high and my middle finger higher! I love team breezy. Let's just laugh it off cuz they mad. Ahahahahaha..Fame + Platinum= Fortune! Nobody can take my joy. I have some of the most incredible fans in the world. Goodnight y'all!"
Breezy performed on the "Today" show for its Summer Concert Series last Friday morning. He drew record-breaking crowd by luring over 18,000 people to the Rockefeller Center. "It is really truly an honor and a blessing to create music and evoke emotion for positivity. Can't live without my fans," he commented back then.
However, the success of the gig failed to impress FOX News. On the same day, its host Laura Ingraham accused NBC for "rewarding bad behavior." She said, "You may remember the singer Chris Brown, he pleaded guilty to beating his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Sane Americans were disgusted by his bad behavior but that did not stop him from getting top billing this morning on the 'Today' show."
