50 Cent - Cut From A Different Cloth (Part 2) With HYPETRAK TV [Video]

Video After The Jump

50 Cent sits down for part 2 of his "Cut From a Different Cloth" interview with Hypetrak TV

The G-Unit mogul discusses society's obsession with seeing people they build up taking a fall and his refusal to accept defeat,

"You don't ever count how many times you've seen me down. You count how many times you see me get up 'cause that's all I do. That's what I do the best," 50 said. "I never actually allow situations to break me emotionally or mentally at any point. Because I assess it and cfreate what is my understanding of what is actually happening."

The "My Life" rapper also discusses some of the newer emcees faking it until they make it and explains why he'll never take the new hipster approach with his music.

I think 50 cent is always upgrading and trying new styles...in fact: BISD was one such album.Very transitional to what happened in all of hip hop later, imo.His mix-tapes and down-loads too. It's fans who are stuck in the mud.Musicians always build on what went before....and I just hope 50 keeps following his own intuition and sense of what's good.Hope to god, he's not targeting his music to teeny-boppers!

I always feel like 50 cent is pretending to be real...he is hiding so much of himself in these interviews. What he says is he rehearsed and clouded with fake emotion and a fake smile kind of grin when he talks. He is scared of what people think of him and lives his whole life based riding the coat tails of the perception of material success. If the economy crashes and your money isn't worth anything...what will you have but broken ties. ;-) I'd like to see him being real.

All I hear from Fif these days are EXCUSES. Man, you let these idiots make GRODT your sealing; but doesn't have to be as such. What's Jay-Z's best album? the man started before and he is still doing it. Stop the moaning and rationalising... and upgrading the style or it's "has been" for ya. These kids ain't listening to that old s*** no more, and the old dudes are too old to download stuff on the net, they ain't even buying music... all they do is open the big gob. With love. Still a fan though!
