50 Cent Calls Jenny Boom Boom - Talks New Fitness Book, "My Life"
50 Cent‘s new single, “My Life,” [Download HERE] is tearing up the charts showing why life is still good for the G-Unit head. But he recently explained how the process of gathering Adam Levine and Eminem for the track nearly flatlined the song.
“I feel good about it,” 50 told Jenny Boom Boom of Hartford/93.7. “I got Adam into the studio and he worked on it and did the vocals for me. Then I went to Detroit and played the record for Em and [told him] you got to write on this record. He was stuck because he had an idea for the second song we did together called ‘The Champion.’ Creatively, he was locked on that. It took me a minute to get Em to do it.”
50 also explained that although “My Life” is the third single released, he originally intended for it to be his first.
“When you listen to the content on ‘My Life,’ that’s the song to start the album with,” 50 said.
50’s fifth studio album, Street King Immortal, is set to be released in February of next year. The album, which will drop on the tenth anniversary of his debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, will feature multiple guests including Eminem, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, and Wiz Khalifa.
Along with the album in the works, the entrepreneurial rapper has a new book set to be released next year as well. The book will be 50’s third, a fitness book titled Formula 50: A 6-Week Total Body Transformation Plan.
“It started out conceptually as me writing a book based on what I think is my definition of strength,” he explained. “It is supposed to be portions of the physical, mental, and spiritual sides of a person. I made the project about people disciplining themselves, wanting to make the mental decision, to make the physical changes to make their lives better.”

@1 Thug sounds like that was directed at me, so let me respond... I don't internet beef with nobody Gangsta!! Obviously you no nothing about branding or marketing, every artist in the U.S is dying to get over sea's, why? because it's more money to be made over there PERIOD!!! Those artist you named in your post are huge over there with no intent of coming back cause they don't make money in the U.S, but make millions over sea's. So yes I rep SMSaudio, sponsored by them too, that's not being a D*** EATET as you would spell it just supporting a better product. If you are not in the shoes of the man everybody on the blog is talking about(50 Cent) or have made the money that the man has made, and you have something negative to say about him, plan and simple you are a hater, period!! SMSaudio #1 selling head set overseas, Beats by Dre going through a complete overhaul, any time you see a product have to use other celebrities to move the product then it's on life support, check the stats. Drops a record and it goes to #1 in a day after being released, then that means this man still knows what the hell he's doing.
