Lil Wayne Loses Lawsuit Over Documentary, Ordered to Pay $2 Million
Lil Wayne might win some, but he just lost one. The YMCMB rapper has lost his case against Quincy Jones III over the documentary Tha Carter.
In addition to losing the suit, TMZ reports that Wayne lost the countersuit that QDIII filed against him.
The jury ordered Weezy to pay Quincy $2,195,000. In his countersuit, Quincy claimed that Wayne prevented the release of the film and diminished his profit.
Wayne did not show up to court and missed his opportunity to testify because he was prohibited from flying due to his medical scare. His lawyer had no choice but to show video of Wayne’s deposition, in which he refuses to answer the lawyer’s questions.

@leedavis it doesn't matter how a person acts as long as the evidence is in your favor or the lack there of. If apparances matter that much every rapper would be put in jail, like wtf. Evidence matters dummy, and if your talking about killing in your songs, that's evidence. Dummy. You need to look up the definition of evidence

@ continue. I find it funny that you are so naive. There are plenty of cases with little to no evidence but people still serve time because the prosecution painted them as a terrible person. In Italy Knox got put away despite the fact that another person's dna was all over the crime scene. It happens here too. Appearances always matter especially to a jury. The people deciding the case always look at how you act. Every day people make decisions about you based on how you act, the same applies in a courtroom. But you keep thinking that it's only about evidence.
