Redman Announces 'Muddy Waters 2' Album On The Way. Releases Cover Art
Throughout his 20-plus year career, Redman has consistently delivered high quality hip hop. Out of his first three albums, two are considered classics.
"Whut? Thee Album," which was released 20 years ago and "Muddy Waters," which was released in 1996 generally get high marks from critics and fans alike.
Frequent Redman collaborator Method Man confirmed in an interview with AllHipHop back in July that Redman was working on "Muddy Waters 2." Yesterday Funk Doc officially confirmed it himself by releasing the cover art.
No release date information was given, but at least we know for sure that the album is coming.

I think it gets the most acclaim cause of the beats and Red was totally focused for the first time cause he had just stopped smoking all that dust. But those first 2 are still 2 of the most bugged out original rap albums ever made. Dark Side is just as much of a classic as Tical is to me.

I dont know if he can Match Muddy Waters. That was the most lyrical album of all times hands down. He had more trax than illmatic. Plus the Beats were off the chain. When i heard Muddy Waters Redman was on my TOp 5 List, and lyrically #1

So his first and third are considered classics??? Dare iz a dark side is his best album, than docs da name 2000. Get it right.
