50 Cent To Headline Dubai Music Festival In October

The man never seems to take a break, and with a long awaited album scheduled to hit stores this November,, expect his work ethic too only be cranked up a few more notches.

We're talking about none other than 50 Cent, who has been named the headliner of the Atelier Festival in Dubai set to take place on October 19.

At least another four Grammy Award-winning artists and two DJs, to be named later, are expected join him on the billing at the event which is expected to draw 20,000 people.

50 Cent last performed in Dubai in 2007 at Media City Amphitheatre.

“50 Cent is a legend in urban, hip-hop and rap, and is a brand himself,” said Mac.S.Far, chairman and managing director of the event organisers Alchemy Project and founder of Atelier. “All people of all ages know him and are familiar with his music, which is perfect for this all-ages music festival. Without exaggeration, in my opinion, he is the most popular hip-hop/rap artist that lives.”

“50 Cent’s show has always been full of energy. He always delivers a great performance and this time he will be accompanied by his band, making this experience even more memorable. 50 himself is very excited about this festival and is looking forward to performing live at Atelier/Festival.”

50 Cent will perform alongside Tony Yayo, Kidd Kidd and Paris. Source

I mean if you listen to the content of bank$, you know that public eye isn't what he's goin 4. Banks does all his shows overseas, a few in the states. But ya'll gotta understand this is PR related. Banks and 50 gotta have a mutual understanding. 50 beefed with a lot of dudes in the industry. Plus Banks hangs out with the likes of Fab, Juelz, Slowbucks, V Twizzy, D Block. IDK he just can't be 50's little mans no more, He is an independent international Rap star. I like it better this way... for now atleast

Get out of here with the noise about Banks. He is not lazy. He is doing his thing away from 50. I bet you this much, if Banks were to come to LA at Club Nokia (same venue 50 performed at 2 years ago), he would have no problem getting people out to see him perform.
