Lil Wayne Not Feeling The Big Apple "Flat Out I Don't Like New York" [Video]

In a January 2011 interview with Rolling Stone, Lil Wayne vowed to never play another concert in New York City.
"They'd have to give me U2 money," he said at the time.
Since then his stance has softened. He even took part in Nicki Minaj's concert last week at the Roseland Ballroom, but his disdain for the city remains.
Wayne's 2007 gun arrest after a NYC show led to him spending 242 days in Rikers Island in 2010. It's a stint he remembers well. In a new interview with MTV at the Magic Convention in Las Vegas where he was introducing his new SUPRA sneaker line, Wayne talked about his recent show in NYC.
"Flat out I don't like New York," Wayne said. "But the whole Summer Jam/Nicki thing, I can't really remember the situation, but I know it was my call. As far as last week['s concert], last week was awesome. I think everything happens for a reason, and I think when people say that, you're not supposed to leave it at, 'Everything happens for a reason.' I believe everything happens for a reason and then you make the most of that reason. I think we made the most of it last week."

New York City is dirty and nasty YES....But New York City is the only City with 2 Airports,2 Baseball teams,.....Man the list goes on and on, not to mention NYC is the only City with as many Millionaires who live on the same block at one time......EVERYTHING come through NYC first Fashion, Music, Food, Art, Broadway, Photography, Dance, Acting, Celebrities..Every movie you watch has to do with NYC...So that is why NYC is so f****** dirty it's the City that never sleeps...People are always using this great City for EVERYTHING.

Who cares about what wayne says? Honestly, radio singles and concerts are his only moneymakers. Dude is beyond overrated. He don't even got real bars or meaningful lyrics like Nas or 'Pac or Wu Tang. #Fact

@ Prahphet the East Coast Rappers aint gonna say s*** because they are all cowards lol at thinking Busta will say anything with him being signed to Baby and everything lol I think Nas might say something but he did do two features with two wack a** Young Money employes so I dunno about him maybe 50 ? As far as his comments go just say you don't like the gun laws in NY. I want him to say he don't like East Coast rappers to see which East Coast rappers will step up !!

dont know why this is up but i would hate a state two if i was there when building are being hit by planes and get arrested for a year of my life and then when i get out they do a random drug search on me. Dont understand why he would go back
