Author Dream Hampton Accuses Nas Of Using Ghostwriters, Nas Responds To The Allegation [VIDEO]
The author and hip-hop journalist, Dream Hampton, made some controversial statements on Twitter about rapper Nas.
Triggered by a reply from a follower on Twitter, Hampton said confidently that Nas received help from Jay Electronica and stic.man of Dead Prez in writing tracks for his 2008 album Untitled. View her tweets on Nas below:
Note, Hampton is a critical acclaimed author who co-wrote Jay-Z's Decoded, hand great tides with the late Biggie, and was even executive producer of the 2007 filmography Notorious B.I.G.: Bigger Than Life. She is not seeking fame.

Before the writer ever made her comments, Nas answered the question of whether he has used ghostwriters during his visit to Power 106 in LA. When the host Big Boy asked Nas the question, the rapper replied with a flat out "NO."
He continued by saying that any "ghostwriter" he uses comes from the inspiration he gets just through daily conversation.

Why would nas get jay electronic and dead prez 2 ghostwrite 4 him when he rap better then them.none of them ever made any song as good as illmatic or stillmatic.they prob was in the studio & gave some ideas.but ghost writing the whole album?yea right

Just like we no longer require the rapper to live the life that they rap about…we no longer even require them to even write their own lyrics….just make it catchy and sound cool singing it...
