The son of a slain NYPD officer joins the force, where he falls in with his father's former partner and a team of rogue "Gotham cops." From a producer of 16 Blocks and Righteous Kill comes the action packed police thriller, Freelancers, premiering on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on August 21, 2012. The film will also be available in theaters for a limited release on August 10, 2012.

Who cares? This movie still has the potential to be better than something in theaters, looks dope to me. Obviously De Niro & Whitaker know what they're doing.
