Beyonce Gets Angry Over Lauryn Hill Diss At BET Awards, Changes Acceptance Speech [Video]

For the most part everyone had a great time at last night's BET Awards, but Beyonce got angry during one segment when a joke was made about Lauryn Hill's current tax problems.
Hill pleaded guilty to tax evasion last week and faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
During the show last night boy band Mindless Behavior and comedian Mike Epps were presenting the award for Best R&B Artist when Mike began to sing.
One of the members of Mindless Behavior joked "You sing bad, like Lauryn Hill's tax accountant bad."
Beyonce won the award and made sure she thanked Lauryn Hill during her acceptance speech. TMZ reports that when Beyonce walked offstage she started to vent about the diss to a woman who worked for BET, telling her "I just felt [the diss] was wrong."

I thought that was f****d up to joke about anyone's personal business like that. And to have some wanna be to do so. They would be lucky to see $50,000 or Sell 10,000 copies. But Beyonce is real to be the only one to stand up for Lauryn Hill. Black people need to stand together instead of kicking each other when we down.

damn the industry using these artist as puppets, BET wrote that lil script for dissing Lauryn Hill them lil kids just went along with it, they mindless for sure lol, lets be reminded what Hill wrote recently, “For the past several years, I have remained what others would consider underground. I did this in order to build a community of people, like-minded in their desire for freedom and the right to pursue their goals and lives without being manipulated and controlled by a media protected military industrial complex with a completely different agenda" Lauryn Hill

that's why i don't watch bet no more, i haven't in about 3 years and i am proud of that, i don't care if the award show had a surprise performance by the real tupac, i ain't tuning in, no support for that coon ship...a bunch of battery operated puppets willing to do whatever, even making their own race look stupid
