Tupac Shakur's virtual appearance at Coachella not only got people talking, it also sparked an increase in record sales for the late rapper according to Billboard.biz.
Pac's 1988 Greatest Hits album returned to the Billboard 200 charts where it currently sits at No. 129 with 4000 copies sold. All Eyez On Me (2,000; up 95%) and Me Against the World (1,000; up 53%) also saw increases in sales.
Three of the rapper's singles saw sales increases as well.
"Hail Mary" sold 13,000 downloads last week for a 1,530% sales increase. "California Love" sold 11,000 downloads (up 119%), while "2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted" sold 9,000 (up 881%).
