Beanie Sigel's Tax Evasion Sentencing Postponed. IRS Now Claims He Owes $750,000 In Unpaid Taxes

Beanie Sigel will have to wait a couple more months before he knows his fate in his tax evasion trial because the sentencing date has been pushed back to July 12 according to Contact Music.

Sigel was originally accused of owing $350,000 in back taxes after failing to report his earnings from 2003 and 2005. He pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to report $1.5 million.

The hip-hop star was due to face sentencing at a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania court on Thursday April 12, but a judge pushed back his hearing until July 12 after Internal Revenue Service agents filed new claims, alleging Sigel actually owes upwards of $750,000.

He now has until April 26 to surrender additional financial documents in a bid to solve the dispute.

If convicted, Sigel faces up to three years behind bars.

"D*mn Beans!!!" ... Note to self, If I every decide not to pay may taxes don't just sit on or blow the money that I failed to pay the IRS b/c 1 day they are going to come looking for that missed payment! To all reading if you not going to pay-up annually atleast flip that money so when that day comes that the IRS says, "YOU EITHER PAY OR WE GONNA TAKE IT & JAIL YOU," you won't have to lose all your assets like Young Broke, flea the country like Nas, or go to Jail behind it like Beans.

this recession has the govt going after anyone that owes them a dollar. I bet no one thought about that when Obama was talking about "change" huh? The world is full of suckers. Work your azz off to get money only to land in prison cause you spent it all without paying tax. Real smart sh!t. SMH.
