Police Release Footage Of Former Bad Boy Rapper G-Dep Confessing To Murder [Video]

Video After The Jump

Police in New York City have released video of G-Dep confessing to the murder of John Henkel in 1993. Dep, a former artist on Diddy's Bad Boy label confessed to the two decades old crime in December 2010, but has changed his story during his murder trial this week.

Dep now says that he shot someone, but it wasn't Henkel.

WOW!!! spit it out man...lol that could have been told in less then a minute TOPS homie.. you're shot!!! quick and simple version...I rode my bike up on em and asked em where the cash was at..he didn't tell me so i shot em 3 times and dipped out on my bike. Came back around the corner to see mad police and a body on the ground so i knew he was dead. BANG 1 minute tops.. this n**** took 5 minutes to stutter out what he did..Although now that i think about it he was probably nervous as f*** realizing that he was confessing to murder which is definitely scary!!

This is a murder he committed in '93, way before he signed with Bad Boy. This was a cold case, dude could've never been caught, but he said the guilt was weighing down on him so he decided to confess. That's crazy!
