@top 3 = Ross/Banks/Kiss...meth definately held it down in the beginning. but then, all eyes were on ghostface. deck never got his deserved props, gza was too advanced for most listeners, raekwon put out his classic cuban linx sh!t, odb was a live wire (RIP), masta killa didn't drop his solos until after the new millenium, rza is the man, now who am i forgetting? u god...yeah they didn't really need him LOL

Method Man was my favorite because of his style. ODB was great to. But if you listen to the albums close Inspector Deck was the most lyrical way before his time.
