The shooting death of 17-year old Trayvon Martin continues to shock and sadden people across the globe. Martin was unarmed and walking back from the store to his dad's house when he was gunned down by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida last month. Zimmerman has yet to be charged in the teen's death.

Many Americans have taken to the streets in protest, wearing hoodies similar to the one Martin was wearing on the night he died.

Some celebrities are also showing their support.

Diddy, The-Dream, Frank Ocean, Jamie Foxx, Nelly and Swizz Beatz took pictures wearing hoodies and posted them on Twitter and other social networking sites. See the pics courtesy of Rap-Up below

That's so good that so many people are getting involved with that senseless murder of Trayvon. I've been wearing my hoodie too. I really, really hope that STUPID A** PUNK GET WHAT'S COMING TO HIM WHEN IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE!!! IT'S TIME FOR ALL THESE UNNECCESSARY MURDERS/KILLINGS TO STOP!! I'M SO TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT SOME INNOCENT PERSON GETTING KILLED. I THINK ABOUT HOW THAT COULD BE MY SON AND THAT SH*T AIN'T COOL AT ALL!! SMH

the reason us "blacks" are upset is because this was a racially charged incident. if you can't see that, you're plain stupid. give zimmerman the death penalty so i can urinate on his grave :)

Tha state of black people today was borne outta slavery: we abandone our family because in slavery we were bought and sold and ripped away from our family. Why we disrespect our women because massa raped our women and made us to breed wit any black woman upon command, why we hate ourselves because we were taught that we were sub human and we were in a struggle to survive tha worst conditions...we hated to see another black person get ahead or get more scraps than us....i say that to say this WE GOTTA CHANGE WHO WE ARE AS A PEOPLE...WE ARE MORE THAN DESCENDANTS OF SLAVERY.

You know why cops brutalize and murda blacks? COS THEY KNOW THEY CAN GET AWAY WIT IT!! Zinnerman shot tha kid and cops came by and patted him on tha back and said job well done...black people was bred from slavery days to hate our selves and disrespect our women...but like rakim said iss time to remake our brains...we cannot allow tha self hatred mentality to consume another generation...it starts witus redefinin who we are a a people our history did NOT start as slaves on no plantation...we need to teach our true history before we perish from lack of knowledge.

Mizz Saigon attends The Dream's listening session for his new album "IV Play"

It's your girl Mizz Saigon and I attended The Dream's listening session. As I walked up the block of the location the event was being held, I see this long line of people. And all I'm thinking is please don't make me have to wait on it. Just my luck Shampoo was at the door and in I went! The ambiance was sexy and cozy and the open bar made it that much better. Immediately I bumped into well known DJs Big Kap and Boy Wonda then DJ Tommy Gunz of Def Jam. I made my way through the venue and I…See More
