Birdman Says Cash Money Wants To Release 16 Albums In 2012. Speaks On Limp Bizkit Signing & Wanting To Expand Into Country & Gospel
Birdman obviously isn't worried about over-saturating the market because he wants to drop 16 albums under the YMCMB umbrella in 2012.
The ambitious goal was revealed to XXL during a recent interview. Stunna also said that after signing Limp Bizkit he's looking for more acts from different genres to sign.
“I think bringing Fred and Limp Bizkit to the team gives us a different look,” Birdman told XXL.com. “We dominate rap, but we’re also trying to grow in different areas; Pop, rock, gospel, country. We’re a brand and we don’t want to be categorized as one type of brand. I think we’re a machine and we activate and were active as a machine. I thought this Limp Bizkit move would be big for us as a brand and a machine.”
Limp Bizkit's first single drops next week and features Lil Wayne.

There is a sayin dat says too much is harmful, how can u put out over 16 albums in a yr under one label, dat is like commiting suicide to ur label, i wonder what kind of marketin strategies & plans does birdman have this yr coz i don't see any gud in what he's sayin..u need to keep ur circle a bit small inorder to make easy marketin plans for ur artists inorder to generate more money, now this is the reoson i respect Jay-Z as a businessman, the guy brings artists on his label dat success is not an optional but a must..He has Shakira,Beyonce,Rihanna, J.Cole & a few more, but look at Birdman's camp he has artists dat can't pull up big numbers like Christina Milian, Mystikal, Bow Wow, Busta Rhymes,Limp Bizbikt & many others..#YMCMB is digging up their own grave on this one, time will tell, mark my words..!!
