Rihanna, Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Hudson & Vivica Fox In The Running To Play Whitney Houston In Biopic. Who Would Be Your Choice? [Poll]
Whitney Houston's life story will be coming to a movie screen near you in the very near future if record executive Clive Davis has his way.
Davis was instrumental in guiding Houston's career to superstardom and he wants her to be remembered in the proper manner.
Rihanna is reportedly the front runner for the role according to the Daily Mail. Other stars being considered are Jennifer Hudson, Vivica Fox and Jordin Sparks.
11-year old Willow Smith is being considered to play the legendary singer as a child.

Always go with an unknown. Otherwise it distracts from who the biopic is depicting. Or at least relatively unknown like Lou Diamond Phillips in La Bamba or Gary Busey in the Buddy Holly Story. (At the time anyways. Both even sang themselves.) Otherwise you end up with messes like Will Smith as Ali or Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman. Haven't seen the Johnny Cash one yet so I can't comment on that one.

Jennifer Hudson is the only one that makes sense. Jordin Sparks is too light skinned, Rihanna has a thick Barbados accent, Meagan Good can't sing to my knowledge. Jennifer is skinny now, same complexion & can do any Whitney Houston song justice & on top of all that she can act.
