ABC's 'Nightline' Features 50 Cent's Visit To Somalia "I Don't Want To Be A Guy Who's Just Remembered For Writing A Few Cool Songs" [Video]

With his Street King initiative and work with the World Food Programme as well as FeedingAmerica.org, 50 Cent is proving to be a man with a big heart.
As we previously reported the G-Unit boss visited a refugee camp in the dangerous country of Somalia as a guest of the WFP. The trip was documented by ABC's Nightline. Accompanied by reporter Dan Harris, the record mogul turned humanitarian greeted children, handed out meals and even rapped at the request of some of the kids who had walked miles to get food and medical help.
"I want to be more, not just as an artist but as a person," 50 told Harris "[For] my legacy, what's left behind. I don't want to be a guy who's just remembered for writing a few cool songs."

good move but i know what he's doing.... He's tryin to recreate his image of what people think of him. After seeing he can't be the big bully rapper that take rap shots at other rappers he figured he would show his sensitive side in hope people would look at him differnt so that way when he does throw out a diss people will feel where's he coming from a bit better since he's acting like a nice guy n shit........yep I know he's just tryn to change up his image.

Are you feeding kids with your own money? Anyone can visit Somolia and take pictures with kids. Furthermore, television evangelists like Peter Poppoff have been doing this for years before being busted for fraud. You are giving money to the UN food program, which has been littered in scandals. During the Haiti money raising efforts, the UN program kept over 780 million for themselves. This is Corporate greed disguised as "conscious capitalism". I don't buy it, until you are changing your content and helping people out of your own money.
