This list is trash, made by a panel of morons. The only ones that should be left on the list is Jay, kanye and maybe wiz. Every one else had trash records ( trust me I unfortunately got to listen to them) Im sorry I missed Waynes hit this year? Subtract the rest add Lupe, Common, Game (Yeah i know its 50's site but is album was solid), Eminem, Royce, hell put Pitbull in there he had more popular songs then these jokes, Frank ocean. Plus a lot more you could even stick in there Yelawolf, Tyler the Creator (he was popular) Mtv is a joke stick to your garbage reality tv shows and don't make lists a bouts topics you clearly know nothing about.

yo man f*** mtv!!! but its there opinon i believe its only was 10 people at that table that's not even one percent of the rap community,oh my bad hip hop community!!!but what was funny to me one of the judges said he took points off drake because he sings on his songs but didn't take points off officer ricky for rapping about things he never did and lieing about being a cop lol!!! but like i say this list gets worse every year.

@ 1THUG aka Ya INNERNET TUFF GUY!!
Yo man 50 been very consistant. Idk what you are talkin about. Plus there are many other rappers that do have good music and they are real as well.
Your confused my friend.
mtv is full of suckers who disgraced hip hop.
The industry doesnt show love to the 'real' anymore. So at this point, its up to the people to keep hip hop alive and real music alive. Any song that actually has a meaning to it with deep emotion and feelings with true spoken word, is better than any song representing false identity.
Hey 50, please keep making your music man and keep making that real hip hop with the Unit! We need yall! Hip hop needs yall! I salute the truth! One love :)

Kanye is the only one in that Top 5 that has talent and isn't a wack, overrated piece of s*** who's unsure of their identity. Still not saying much, shows how out of touch MTV is.
