I'm Not a Fan Of MTV and its List coz I could care less but You still gotta give props to niqqas on the list, coz they the ones who's relevant and in the streets puttin out hard shit, they looking for alotta mainstream niqqas not underground and niqqas who only puttin out weekly freestyles or mixtapes, idk, but who cares, everyone still getting they money so why they giving a fuck? idc if I was #10 and I had the best selling album of the year and the corniest niqqa was #1, I'm still reguarded as one the best, like Eminem, why does he care if he aint on the list as MTV's HOTTEST keyword, MC's, when Eminem was crown the BEST Rapper Alive earlier, relax ppl

its all hand-picked. Its marketing. The homies on the list are either a "staple" (Jay-Z) or albums are not pushing right (Fab, Rae, Gucci etc). Its funny cause Eminem is not even on it....and 50 keep bringing hits but since the LABEL had nothing to do wit "Okay Ya Right, Get Up" his single mixtape freebies, what makes you think 50 is going to generate money for the label as a whole.....and THATS WHY he is 9.
