How much more can we become detached because that's what this is about, that they the police have absolute power. No more assessing the situation, instead of just acting out of brut force in every situation. The police have what is called discretion. The Female cop slams Elderly lady (80+). Wow, now right or wrong and the elderly lady is completely in the wrong if that is truly what happen. But the little thing I spoke about called discretion Cops have it and need to start using it. And for those thinking some off the cuff remark like I've seen on the blogs, you won't be happy until your on the receiving end of that brut force. And if that was your Mother or Grand Mother how the hell would you fill? As you can see the cop lady is feeling ultra bad and will have to think about her cowardly act forever, I did something dumb that may cost this lady her life. What ever happen to talk down the situation or other measures once you the Cops had arrived.

Straight up and down that would not happen to an elderly white woman. There is such a thing called discretion. Sometimes I think officers need to apply it to certain situations. No way a similarly aged white "female" gets that type of treatment. Imagine a black cop doing that to an elderly white woman.
