Fat Joe talks about his latest project, The Darkside Vol. 1, as a means of reaffirming his bona fides in the industry. However, in a their review of the album, the Washington Post final comment was "Fat Joe wants to be everyone's friend." That's a harsh comment from a mainstream publication. In street talk, Washington Post is saying Fat Joe is not hard enough.

In the last month, Sean "Diddy" Combs has made news, stating via Twitter and public performances such as Sunday's Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York, that he has created a Rap super-ground.
