About Me
O'flames Bio

Charles Moore was raised in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. He was ripped from his comfort zone at the age of nine with the separation of his parents. Ironically although he spent most of his following years living with his mother he felt a greater need for and attachment to his father who wasn’t very frequent in visiting.
His relationship with his mother has always been a rocky one. From his early to late teens they would often get into arguments that would usually result in Charles being kicked out. During that time period away from his mother’s household Charles made a home of a nearby park or if he was lucky at a friend’s house.
At the early age of 12 he was embraced by the street life, being schooled by street-corner drug dealers Charles was able to soak in the good and the evils of the game. Losing thirteen close ones to gun violence, at least twelve friends to prison and after a few encounters with the law he chose to keep his distance from the streets.
With all the drama circulating in his world Charles would turn to writing to release his anger. During his senior year Charles became close to his English teacher who encouraged him to take writing seriously. Becoming more socially and politically aware of his surroundings and a system that he was already a part of he realized that writing may be his only outlet. Turning his words into rhymes Charles would often recite his lyrics or “fire” as they called it back then to his classmates eventually gaining the name Flame.
On achieving his high school diploma at the age of 16, Flame packed up and moved to Orlando Florida to attend Full Sail Real World Education where he studied the recording arts. During his college career he linked up with various artists from all over the country. Flame, driven by his passion for the arts and natural ambition he started to master his form in writing songs and composing music. This played a major role in the completion of his first album "The Inferno" in 1999. In 2000 he received his Associates of Science degree and moved back to Wilmington to pursue his career in music.
Starting his own record label called Shadow Entertainment he started producing for artists of his own which would lead to more struggles and whole different game. With things not progressing as quickly as he expected Flame decided to take some time off to re-master his musical style. This decision was based on his realization of the fact that he needed to adapt his skills to his new environment as opposed to the one in which he earned his degree.
Still going through situations with his mother Flame moved to the west side of the city with his father and uncle. Although, once again surrounded by the life he escaped in his earlier years he fought to stay focused on what he wanted to do. He built relationships with local artists throughout the city. In little time he began producing mixtapes and albums. Still dissatisfied with his level of success, Flame went back to rebuild Shadow Entertainment (Shadow E).
In 2005 Flame finished his highly anticipated mixtape Best of the Best vol.1a musical holocaust where he vents on his past habits and boasts about his success with Shadow E. Best of the Best vol.1 is filled with 27 hard hitting, slick talking tracks proving that the pen is mightier than the sword. It’s a new path and a new journey for this emcee, and in his words "it has only begun"....

50 is a joke. He really thinks those laws are working for him, now they are working against him. I believe nothing dude says anymore and truth be told his base is leaving. I don't even know if I will be supporting him anymore.
