"Rapping came as

a second nature for J. Taylor. His first encounter with music came when he

started composing instrumental for local artist. J. Taylor's love for music

grew. He had realized that he just could continue to create instrumental for

rappers that had nothing to say."I understand that music is a form of

expression and everyone feels a different way, but listeners do not always want

to hear about the club, pop bottles, and just have sex. Sure, it all sounds

good and fun to listen to, but these rappers are not being creative nor holding

a message behind their music," says J. Taylor. Inspired by Tupac Shakur,

Biggie Smalls, and Jay-Z, J. Taylor established a strong love for telling

stories in his lyrics. At age 17, J.

Taylor was posting songs, instrumentals, and lyrics for people to purchase

under the moniker "June C". Currently, J. Taylor has been featured on

albums and mix tapes for other artist such as Action’s “Shot Caller" album

that is presented by Harlem-bred producer Dame Grease. Even with the recent

release of his mix tape "Back To Business", J. Taylor is back in the

lab working on completion of his first album under the record label, Armed

Rebel Ent. Be sure to keep your ears tuned for J. Taylor, he is the future of

Hip-Hop.
